Lay Bhari” propelled Bollywood star Riteish Deshmukh, (better known for his astute production forays into Marathi cinema), into cult status. So it’s not surprising that the team behind the success story would try to replicate that triumph with a sequel. ‘Mauli’ directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, written by Kshitij Patwardhan and produced by Genelia D’souza (who also rewards herself with an eye-pleasing, gung-ho, dance number in the opening moments of the film), is not so much a sequel as it is side-step. Much like ‘Lay Bhari’ was a playful, indulgent and fairly intelligent take on the 70’s Bollywood potboiler, Mauli’ too traverses the same path by rejigging the same formula, twisting it about a bit and presenting it as a newer version of the same thing. At heart, it’s the same story though.
Basically It is the next sequel of a marathi movie lai bhari. In the movie lai bhari salaman khan played a small role of 'Bhau" and these scene gone viral at the time of lai bhari.
